KUCHING, March 12 (Bernama) — The Youth Assembly 2011 next week will give Sarawak youths an opportunity to identify economic opportunities available for them in the projects of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (Score).
Sarawak Assistant Minister for Youth Affairs and Training Larry Sng said the assembly, to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here, would have an exhibition as well as workshops and conferences to enlighten youths, even those in secondary school, on the employment opportunities available for them in the development corridor. “We hope that the youths can seek out for themselves the opportunities available,” he said at the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) by 10 youth and campus organisations here in support of the “Tomorrow”s Leaders Summit 2011″ to be held as part of the assembly.
