Congratulations to the World Assembly of Youth for successfully organizing the 11th Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) which was attended by more than 150 young people and youth leaders from 38 countries around the world.  Held between the 26th to 30th of June, the event was themed “Shaping the Next Generation of 
Entrepreneurs”.

Several high profile speakers including, Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, Wife of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Rt. Hon. Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, the Chief Minister of Melaka, Rt.Hon. Dato’ Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek Minister of Youth and Sports and Y.B. Datuk Idris Haron the President of World Assembly of Youth were well received by all the international youth representatives.

The organising chairman of Tomorrow’s Leaders Summit, Nordin Abdullah, spoke on the need to develop “Innovation in the Business Sector” for youth to help them develop as the next generation of Entrepreneurs.  This is of vital importance for the future.  Nordin stated,  “No other time in history has there been a greater emphasis on the younger generation to provide for everyone and this trend will only increase.”
