About 1,000 youth in the country are expected to take part in the meeting to be held at the Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching from March 18 to 20.
Speaking at a press conference before the summit stakeholders roundtable meeting here yesterday, he said the workshops would cover important areas of science and technology, namely in animation, cyber security, nanotechnology, brain gain and forensic science.
“The summit is important as the youths will be able to engage with speakers and exchange innovative ideas and also have the opportunity to interact with young leaders on their recipe for success.”
He also said renowned speakers would address the summit, which was in line with the government’s effort and commitment to develop and empower youth in the country.
Also present was its organiser, Glenreagh Sdn Bhd managing director Nordin Abdullah, who said international speakers, including two Nobel laureates and several successful Malaysian celebrities had been invited to speak to the participants
